The 2005 Summit offered African and American business representatives first-rate networking opportunities and provided attendees with up-to-date information on practical business issues and specific policy matters confronting the U.S. private sector in the African marketplace.

The Summit - without a doubt one of the largest events on Africa - attracted in excess of 2,000 African and American private and public sector representatives.  VIP attendance included: 15 African heads of state, the President of the World Bank, more than 100 African ministers and numerous other prominent African and American private and public sector decision makers.
