Event Overview

Dubai means business …. also for South African companies.  One of the fastest developing commercial centres in the world, Dubai offers unrivaled attractions as a base for doing business with a large and rapidly developing region, covering the Middle East, CIS, Central Asia, Asian subcontinent and Africa.  Dubai presents South African businesses with a wide range of opportunities for different activities and operations, including:

  • Dubai, the UAE and the Middle East

  • Why Dubai? What Dubai has to offer?

  • Setting up business in Dubai: The need for a Sponsor

  • Success Stories: South African companies active in Dubai describe their experience

We at Omega know Dubai.  We have organized several investment-type events there.  South African businesses are already in Dubai and doing well.  But Dubai would welcome more.  Hence this workshop, which was organized with the support of the Dubai Government’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.  The workshop concentrated on four sectors:

  • Dubai as a Regional Business Hub for trade and investment

  • Dubai as a Tourism and Leisure Destination

  • Dubai as a Centre for Financial Services; and
