The
workshop in
Dubai
was opened by Mr Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, the Deputy
Director-General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry
and drew over 30 private individual investors and
decision-makers of financial institutions.
Introduction
to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the biggest pools
of investment capital around, was a unique experience.
Presentations to no fewer than four fund managers were
individual and private. All the presentations were
well-received, with three and possibly four, succeeding in
getting funding. In Omega’s view, this is an ideal
source of capital for funds – provided they have the right
credentials.
