As
distinct from mining conferences as such, which are
generally day-long and have a full-fledged programme dealing
with a general theme, this was the second of Omega’s
mining presentations which are half-day events offering our
presenters an opportunity to specifically promote their
company or mining project to a select audience.
The objective of the forums was to bring together
parties in the mining industry who, in different ways, would
be able to use this platform to create a high-powered
networking opportunity.
This
significant investment opportunity was a follow-up to
several highly successful similar forums/conferences in
Singapore, London and Johannesburg and reflects the
following developments:

Worldwide
resurgence in investment interest in resources and
mining.

The
fluctuating price over the past six months of gold and
platinum has re-focused attention on both long-term and
portfolio investment in not only these metals but others
