Conference Summation

 

Purpose of Conference:

The conference had a practical and business-oriented focus with an aim to:

  • Boost UK-Malaysian business relations

  • Identify and assist in developing two-way business opportunities

  • Create a platform for business networking

Presentations:

Sixteen presentations were made by Malaysian Government Officials, relevant

Trade Associations, Consultants, Standard Chartered Bank and major

corporations including ABB, Rolls-Royce, Alstom and Tesco.

 

Delegates:

Ninety delegates attended the conference including His Excellency Dato

Hj-Salim Hashim the Malaysian High Commissioner, Datuk Dr Paddie Bowie an

accepted authority on Malaysia business practices and, Chairmen and Managing

Directors of companies in the UK and Malaysia.
